This is a code block with the following text:

A black and white landscape photograph by David, inspired by the work of Ansel Adams. The image captures the serene beauty of the six-span bridge over the River Barle on Exmoor, a place that David loves to visit and photograph. David used the zone method to create a rich contrast between the light and dark tones, enhancing the texture and detail of the scene. The photograph reflects David's mood of peace and relaxation, as he invites the viewer to share his vision of this tranquil spot.

These trees seen at any other time of year are so thin and inconsequential, but on this day they were transformed by the snow and heavy frost and to me they seemed to be reaching for the sky, they had taken on a new boldness for life. My first winter on Exmoor, and an adventurous photo, a buckled wheel on our 4x4 and a broken thumb, going out in such icy conditions is dangerous here.

Pierced For My Transgressions the Swiss Guard protecting The Vatican this photo spoke to me of the Christian belief, after all this is the home of that belief. The light represents Jesus, the light of the world, on the cross and that moment when Jesus is pierced by the soldier, for our transgressions. The photo is in black and white, but I have left colour in the one soldier as for me it represents that moment when he connects with Jesus and receives salvation.

Watersmeet upper waterfall for me is the more picturesque of the falls although the rivers flowing down to Lynmouth have many sections worth photographing, I am always drawn to light and dark areas within a picture, Melody tells me I am influenced by the Baroque movement of the great painters such as Caravaggio.
