When I was little I remember having a great adventure in my Grandparents garden. My sister Sue and I saw flying fish hovering above the pond. I remember going in and telling the adults we’d seen flying fish, they didn’t believe us! Years later while walking on Brighton beach I found a beautiful dead fish, taking out a scrap of paper I drew it, then threw it into the sea. Painting it later I placed it in the sky, flying over red flowers.  It was one of my eternal paintings, the beautiful fish was a picture of ‘The Resurrection’, an ongoing theme within my work.
